You’ll never be short of inspiration on your ride either as scenic views of the sea, mountain ranges and natural wildlife are in abundance. Try a quiet pedal down to some of the villages in the Mid Wales countryside where you can take in the peaceful atmosphere before settling in for a relaxing evening in a country pub.

Or perhaps you’re up for a bit more of an adventure by mountain biking through Wales’ steep peaks in national parks such as Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons. You may even fancy cycling part of the 870-mile Wales Coast Path, which runs the entire length of the Welsh coastline.
