Carmarthenshire in west Wales is known for its awe-inspiring mountains, fast-flowing rivers, undisturbed and ancient forests as well as the vast expanses of golden sandy beaches. That’s paired with an array of things to do in and around Carmarthenshire.

The region offers some of the best mountain biking in Wales, including Brechfa Forest that has trails to suit all abilities. For water sports, you can enjoy canoeing or rowing on the rivers of the country. Walkers can stroll along the sandy beaches or chip away at the 870-mile Wales Coast Path – a walking route around the whole of the Wales which you can find throughout Carmarthenshire.
