Every fortnight, we take an official Welsh dataset, usually from StatsWales, the Office for National Statistics or Visit Wales, and turn it into a plain-English report. It’s built for journalists, researchers or a visitor curious how their favourite corner of Wales compares to the rest.
Every figure on this page comes from a named, public, official source. Every report links to the raw dataset behind it, so you can check our working rather than take our word for it.

Our Approach
- Official sources only. StatsWales, the Office for National Statistics, Visit Wales, Natural Resources Wales, and local authority public records. No survey panels, no scraped estimates.
- Checked against the primary dataset before publication. Every figure is traced back to the source table, not taken from a press release or a secondary write-up.
- Fully sourced. Every report names its dataset and links to the raw download.
- Corrected in the open. If a figure needs correcting after publication, we fix it and note the correction on the report itself.
