White Water Rafting in North Wales

Located near Bala in North Wales, the National White Water Centre offers a variety of packages. Navigate the rapids of the River Tryweryn, located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. It’s a beautiful river that offers plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife, whilst also providing an Olympic-grade white water course.

Choose from a full session, taster, safari or orca adventure. You can also opt to go canyoning with the centre if that’s also up your street.

You’ll take a 4km trip down one of the best rafting rivers in the UK if you book a session with the guys at Whitewater Active. The rapids range from grades 2 – 4, so you get the chance to experience different difficulties and try your hand at a variety of adrenaline-fuelled navigation.

Take on the monstrous Serpents Tail, Tombstones, and Town Falls rapids before waving at family and friends watching you from the Llangollen bridge. Gorge walking and rock climbing are alternative activities that you can book to top off your action-packed day.
