1.  Cerrig

If you’re looking to spend a wonderful weekend exploring the Welsh countryside with your four-legged pal, Cerrig cottage is an ideal dog-friendly base that will fit all your needs and requirements.

Situated on the west coast of Anglesey, it offers comfortable living areas, ample outdoor grounds and beautiful views over Rhoscolyn Bay. The open plan sitting and dining room is the perfect space to curl up and relax after a long day visiting the local sites. Plus, with a roaring open fire and underfloor heating, you can ensure every family member stays toasty and warm all holiday.

Bryn Peris is a lovely, detached holiday cottage in the quaint seaside village of Moelfre.

If you’re daring enough to try outdoor activities such as kite surfing, paddle boarding and windsurfing, you’re in luck. This beach is a popular spot for adrenaline junkies all year round.

 

4.  Castle Mews

Well-behaved pets are more than welcome to stay in the stunning accommodation at Castle Mews.

This dog-friendly Anglesey holiday cottage is located right in the hustle and bustle of Beaumaris market town and sleeps two guests, making it perfect for a romantic weekend away. Right on the doorstep are historic medieval streets filled with traditional pubs, cafes and craft shops, as well as the famous Beaumaris Castle. The homely base is also not too far from Snowdonia National Park if you fancy a spot of hiking, wildlife spotting or cycling.

Once you’re done exploring the local area, there is nothing better than relaxing in the property’s open-plan living space fitted with a large corner sofa, smart TV and fully equipped kitchen with self-catering facilities.

 

5.  Estuary Cottage

Estuary Cottage is a grand holiday home boasting open views across the countryside and peaceful solitude.

The property is a converted barn at the heart of the Lligwy estate so space is certainly not an issue. It contains a sitting room with a log fire, a well-stocked kitchen and two bedrooms providing gorgeous views over the estuary. Wide-open outdoor spaces also mean dogs can frolic and play to their heart’s content.

If you do fancy getting out and about, it’s only a matter of minutes by car to the sleepy village of Moelfre with its wealth of traditional pubs, cafes and craft shops.
